‘The New Nature of Nebraska Ave’
In collaboration with the Salt Lake City-based non-profit Jane Jacobs Walk, the community-engagement project Inspire Your Environment (IYE) of Tampa is hosting this walk on May 5th, 2012 at 9am-11am, to learn of the vision of interconnected/walk-able communities by urban theorist Jane Jacobs and to shed light on Nebraska Ave’s inspiring establishments.
Nebraska Ave is taking Tampa to new heights and inspiring a community, one establishment at a time. Learn of how individuals, intentional communities, and local businesses are inspiring the environment of Tampa’s mixed community through wellness, outreach, and food fellowship. Witness how the new nature of Nebraska Ave is creating a sustainable future for Tampa.
